Monthly Mechies: October 2008

I didn't really have a well though out plan on how to format my Monthly Mechies, so as of right now the Monthly Mechies will just be a list of the five best hip hop albums released in the past month, in no order (although I will put them in the order of what I currently think is best, but that order will almost definitely change within a month, week, or maybe even by tomorrow).

October wasn't a great month, but it was good. The only album released in October that could be a contender for a spot in my top 10 at the end of the year is "Freestyle vs. Written" by C-Rayz Walz and Kosha Dillz, which was released in hard copy format in October, but technically, it's been available digitally for several months already. Moka Only also deserves to be mentioned for "Carrots and Eggs" because it's his 5th release of 2008 (that I'm aware of), and only "The Creepee Eepee 2" has been a sub-standard release. I'm an advocate of quality over quantity, but Moke is proof that in hip hop, we can have both. On with the list:
