2010 Mechy Awards: Pop Album of the Year

The Nominees:

• Ellie Goulding - Lights
• Husky Rescue - Ship of Light
• Mike Patton - Mondo Cane
• Shugo Tokumaru - Port Entropy
• Simona Molinari - Croce E Delizia
• The School - Loveless Unbeliever

And the winner is...

Mike Patton - Mondo Cane

Current Pop music sucks, so it's only right that the best pop album should be full of covers of classic Italian vocal pop songs. If nothing else, Mondo Cane is just further proof that Mike Patton has arguably one of the best vocal ranges ever.
