2009 Mechy Awards: Rookie of the Year

And the winner is...

Fashawn

In my opinion, Speech Debelle put out the best debut album, and my personal favorite rookies are MAGr (local bias), but between the buzz he's created over the past few years and the producers he has backing him, Fashawn is the only rookie that I can't see fading into obscurity.
